We are hiring a full‑time Pre‑Certification Specialist to join us in our Carmel, Indiana location.

• Promptly and professionally answer telephone calls, route calls appropriately, and offer voicemail or call redirection as needed.
• Review patient records to determine the necessity of pre‑authorization for services.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to gather required documentation as needed.
• Follow up on pending requests to ensure timely approvals.
• Educate patients about their insurance benefits and the pre‑certification process.
• Complete obstetrical intake and schedule all new OB appointments.
• Explain financial requirements to patients; collect and record copays as required.
• Obtain pre‑certification from insurance for testing and procedures.
• Perform registration functions for new and existing patients.
• Schedule patient appointments per guidelines given.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all patients.
• Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies through HIPAA compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED or better.
