Senior SAP PP Techno-Functional Consultant; FTE - W2

Overview

Senior SAP PP Techno-Functional Consultant to join the Enterprise Applications team. This W2 role bridges the gap between complex manufacturing business processes and deep technical system architecture. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end S/4

HANA implementations, optimizing shop-floor operations, and performing advanced technical troubleshooting.

Location: Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA (On-site/Hybrid as per project needs)

Employment Type: Full-Time, W2 Only

Policy: No C2C (Corp-to-Corp) or third-party agencies.

• Architectural Design: Lead the design and configuration of SAP PP modules (Discrete and/or Process Industry) to align with global manufacturing standards.

• Techno-Functional Delivery: Translate complex business requirements into high-quality functional specifications and technical designs.

• S/4
  
  HANA Transformation: Drive greenfield implementations and migrations, leveraging S/4
  
  HANA best practices, Fiori apps, and advanced MRP Live features.

• Cross-Module Integration: Architect seamless integration points between SAP PP and related modules including MM, QM, SD, and FICO.

• Technical Depth: Perform ABAP debugging for root-cause analysis, manage IDocs/ALE for data exchange, and design custom RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) objects.

• Optimization: Fine-tune production scheduling using PP/DS and optimize capacity planning and heuristics.

• Experience: Minimum 8–14 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4
  
  HANA implementations.

• Functional Mastery: Expert-level knowledge in MRP, BOMs, Routing/Recipe management, Work Centers/Resources, and Production/Process Order execution.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to perform ABAP Debugging and analyze system logs/short dumps.

  • Hands-on experience with IDocs, BAPIs, and User Exits/Enhancements.

  • Experience with SAP Fiori navigation and standard app extensibility.

• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing environments (Discrete or Process) and shop-floor automation.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience with SAP PP-DS (Detailed Scheduling).

• Knowledge of integration with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4
  
  HANA Production Planning and Manufacturing.
