IT Service Management Analyst – Service Now
We are partnering with a leading enterprise organization seeking an ITSM Analyst to support both day-to-day IT service operations and a strategic Service Now transformation initiative.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale migration from Cherwell to Service Now while helping improve service delivery, automation, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on Service Now experience, strong scripting and automation capabilities, and a passion for improving processes through technology.
What You'll Be Doing- Support the organization's transition from Cherwell to Service Now
- Enhance and optimize ITSM processes including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Knowledge Management
- Develop automations and scripts that reduce manual effort and improve service delivery
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams on platform enhancements
- Assist with workflow design, integrations, and process improvements
- Support CMDB, Hardware Asset Management, and Software Asset Management initiatives
- Utilize Service Now and Microsoft Copilot capabilities to drive automation opportunities
- Participate in compliance-related activities associated with NERC CIP requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with Service Now
- Experience creating automations and scripts using Power Shell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of ITSM best practices and service management processes
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify process improvements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Tripwire
- Exposure to NERC CIP environments
- Previous experience with Cherwell
- Knowledge of CMDB, HAM, or SAM environments
