- Assist in implementing Lakehouse schemas and semantic dataset layers that power core reporting and analytics across Allegion – applying dimensional and modern data modeling best practices for consistency and reuse.
- Build and maintain T‑SQL and Spark/SQL (or equivalent) data transformations in the Data Lakehouse to produce curated, analytics‑ready tables.
- Develop and maintain enterprise‑grade Power BI dashboards and reports that enable self‑service analytics and data‑driven decision‑making at scale.
- Create DAX measures and time‑intelligence calculations to support KPIs and scalable self‑service analytics.
- Support and maintain global data assets, ensuring accuracy, performance, and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Document data models, business rules, data lineage, and report specifications.
- Ensure upstream data pipelines align with downstream analytics requirements.
- Apply Analytics Code Repository templates and processes provided by the Analytics Operations Team.
- 0–2 years’ experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or related roles; internships or coursework in data analytics counts.
- Basic experience with Power BI, including building simple datasets and reports; familiarity with fundamental DAX functions.
- Working knowledge of T‑SQL and foundational understanding of data transformations.
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schema or dimensional modeling.
- Willingness to learn and follow established templates, governance practices, and workflows.
- Strong communication skills and curiosity to learn new tools and best practices.
- Organized, analytical, and able to collaborate effectively in team environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent coursework / certification.
