Vendor Manager
Theoris is assisting our client in their search for a Vendor Manager. This role owns the end-to-end management of key vendor relationships, ensuring vendors deliver measurable value to the business. You will act as both the operational owner and strategic partner. Driving performance, managing risk, and aligning vendor capabilities with organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and owner for assigned vendor relationships
- Manage contracts, renewals, and vendor compliance requirements
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and business objectives
- Identify and mitigate risks related to vendor delivery, cost, and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing vendor usage and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Partner with internal stakeholders (individual contributors through executives) to understand business needs and priorities
- Align vendor services and performance to support evolving business goals
- Lead regular vendor reviews, performance evaluations, and strategic planning sessions
- Resolve escalations and ensure accountability for vendor deliverables
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supplier relationship management
- Proven ability to manage contracts, performance metrics, and vendor negotiations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect vendor performance to business outcomes
- Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify risks and drive proactive solutions
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
