What You’ll Do Lead Operations with Confidence- Serve as the primary operational leader for the Banking Center
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and security controls
- Oversee loss prevention related to cash items, overdrafts, and past-due credit
- Review and act on daily account management and performance reports
- Conduct monthly audits including cash audits, alarm testing, and camera reviews
- Maintain strong controls over ATM, vault, branch capture, and teller systems
- Provide consistently high-quality service to every client
- Open personal and business depository accounts
- Prepare, approve, and process loan and credit card requests within authority
- Respond to and resolve client questions and concerns, including via digital channels
- Evaluate client needs and recommend tailored financial solutions
- Partner with internal bankers and teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Mentor and coach employees in skills, confidence, and career growth
- Assist with hiring, scheduling, performance management, and coaching conversations
- Ensure the team is fully trained on products, services, and systems
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and pride in performance
- Actively pursue new business opportunities in the service area
- Conduct client and prospect calls independently or with partners
- Represent the Bank in the community to build relationships and visibility
- Collaborate with the Banking Center Manager on strategies to deepen and retain client relationships
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 2+ years of retail banking experience, including at least one year in a platform or leadership-capable role
- Proven experience in teller operations, account management, and staff support
- Strong leadership presence with a passion for coaching and mentoring
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
- Comfort interpreting data and making sound operational decisions
- Strong computer, teller system, and mathematical proficiency
- Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds with professionalism and ease
