Medical Device Assembler
Come create your career with Volt. Volt is immediately hiring a Medical Device Assembler in Westfield, IN 46074. As a Medical Device Assembler, you will:
- Perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical catheters under close supervision in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and quality system requirements.
- Accurately complete paper and electronic documentation to maintain full product traceability and support quality investigations.
- Handle and assemble small components and precision parts, including work under a microscope.
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
- Perform repetitive manual tasks such as grasping, pinching, pulling, twisting, and fine motor movements for extended periods.
- Sit or stand for prolonged periods while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
This is a full time, contract opportunity.
Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday to Friday 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Monday to Friday The ideal candidate will have:

Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience as a Medical Device Assembler or Production Assembler is required
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and verbal directions.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Excellent manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small parts and tools.
- Comfortable performing prolonged microscope work.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.
- Preferred
Skills & Qualifications- Previous cleanroom experience strongly preferred.
Pay Rate: $20- $23 per hour. Benefits:
