We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse for Phone Triage (in office position) to join us in our Carmel, IN location. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, benefits-eligible position.
Responsibilities- Answering all urgent and non-urgent incoming gyn calls
- Refilling prescriptions following physician protocols
- Reviewing medical concerns and consulting with the provider as necessary
- Understanding general gyn concerns and issues
- Reviewing general office functionality including hours of operation, after-hours calls, and provider call rotation
- Assisting and scheduling upcoming ultrasounds and appointments
- Entering necessary lab orders
- Documenting all calls and orders in the EMR system
Qualified candidates will be required to have one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an OB/GYN setting, and a degree from an accredited nursing program, a current Indiana Registered Nurse certification, and CPR certification. Knowledge of CPT coding, lab-specific order sets, and eCW is beneficial.
