Description:

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
The department includes Level III care facilities, with multiple labor and delivery rooms, triage rooms, and operating rooms.
Approximately 200 deliveries occur per month.
Schedule requires full-time commitment of 36 hours per week, with rotating holidays and every third weekend.
