We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role.

Core Office

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Pediatric experience preferred. Position is for the Riley pediatric gastroenterology infusion room at IU North.

Duties include:

IV starts, lab draws, medication administration, and patient assessments. 8‑hour shifts with fulfilling daily patient care in a welcoming and warm culture of excellent patient and team member experiences.

• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
• Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
