- Provide comprehensive nursing care that supports residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to monitor residents' health status and identify changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while monitoring residents' responses.
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and families to ensure coordinated care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Help coordinate the overall delivery of care and services within the nursing department, supporting CNAs, QMAs, and other team members.
- Conduct routine rounds, checking in on residents and providing reassurance, clinical support, and compassionate care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Provide health education and support to residents and their families, helping them understand care plans and available resources.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for team members, promoting teamwork and high standards of care.
- Day Shift: 7a-7:30p
- Night Shift: 7p-7:30a
- Full-Time: 24-37hrs weekly!
- Part-Time: 12-25hrs weekly!
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and maintain an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the state.
- You bring strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills and are confident responding to changes in resident conditions.
- You maintain CPR certification and other required clinical certifications.
- You have knowledge of nursing practices that support aging adults and a passion for providing compassionate care.
- You communicate clearly, kindly, and professionally with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
- You are dependable, organized, and able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced care environment.
- You are comfortable using electronic medical record systems such as Point Click Care , or are eager to learn.
- Preferred:
Experience in senior living or long-term care and a desire to grow within a collaborative care team.
