Location:
Carmel, Westfield and Noblesville, IN.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 pm and Friday 8;10 am-3:30 pm. No Call, No Nights, No Weekends.
- Performs routine and diagnostic ultrasound images.
- Interacts with physicians and other technical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient.
- Follows guidelines for probe handling and infection control.
- Follows examination protocols under the guidance of the physicians on duty.
- Oversees patient scheduling.
- Explains procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
- Positions patients, selects appropriate transducers and machine settings.
- Conducts scanning procedures.
- Ensures maintenance on ultrasound equipment.
- Orders and stocks all ultrasound supplies.
- Maintains all ultrasound records, reports and files.
- Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in handling all customer interactions.
- Performs all other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.
Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school.
Three to four years of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of Associates Degree at the discretion of the practice.
and 1 to 2 years related/applicable experience.
Licensure/Certification- Certification is required:
Current ARDMS or eligible. - Current CPR certification.
- Promotes a positive and professional image of Axia Women’s Health.
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient, business and employee information as required by current legal regulation and Company policies and procedures.
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations as may be required.
- Attends all meetings as requested.
- Attends all required in-service education, including but not limited to: hazardous materials, fire/safety, and OSHA.
- Maintains attendance and tardiness and notification to supervisor within the established guidelines of the practice or department.
- Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and in a manner compliant with all regulations.
