Travel Nurse Source  is partnering with Prime Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Carmel, Indiana, 46032. The 31‑bed unit (5C) focuses on general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric surgery, with a patient‑to‑provider ratio of 1:6. Candidates should have charge experience in the Med/Surg environment and be comfortable working 12‑hour days on a 3‑day schedule.

• Minimum Experience:
  
  2 Years in Med/Surg
• BLS certification required
• Charge experience preferred
• Clinical skills:
  Bariatric surgery, Thyroidectomy, Bowel obstruction, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• Surgical drain care, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Wound care/Wound Vac
• Post‑operative care for general surgery, urology, GYN (3/4 shifts)
• Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:6
• Must be able to float within the hospital system or affiliates

Days: 3 days per week (07:00 – 19:30)
Shift Type: 12‑hour days
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Permanent license required before start date (temporary Licenses acceptable while processing perm lic)
