In This Role You Will:

  • Supervise and support nursing staff during the overnight shift to ensure high‑quality resident care and smooth overnight operations.
  • Administer non‑parenteral medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and state scope of practice.
  • Assist on the floor as needed by providing hands‑on resident care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Respond promptly to call lights, resident requests, and overnight concerns with professionalism and compassion.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to nursing leadership, physicians, or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Conduct audits, complete required documentation, and help ensure compliance with community policies and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and maintain stocked supply rooms and notify leadership of inventory or supply needs.
  • Support staffing operations by assisting with schedules, shift communication, and overnight team coordination.
  • Provide overnight security support by monitoring the community, responding to emergencies, and ensuring resident safety throughout the shift.
  • Monday – Friday, 11:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Who You Are:

  • You are certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) in Indiana and in good standing, with an active CNA certification as required by state regulations.
  • You have prior experience in long‑term care, senior living, or a healthcare environment.
  • You are confident leading and supporting a team while remaining calm and dependable in overnight or emergency situations.
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to medication safety and quality resident care.
  • You communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with residents, families, and team members.
  • You are compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting older adults.
  • You are organized, dependable, and able to prioritize responsibilities independently during overnight hours.
  • You maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Preferred:
    Completion of the Indiana Department of Health’s Insulin Administration Education Module and prior supervisory experience.
