Quality Inspector

1st shift: 6:30 am - 3pm

Starting pay $17/hr (Temp to hire); after 90 days, $18/hr.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Quality Inspector who will also be responsible for performing rework on non-conforming products. This dual role involves inspecting products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying defects, and performing corrective actions to bring products into compliance.

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Report and document non-conformances and collaborate with the production team to determine root causes.
• Assist in audits, process validations, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Perform hands-on rework on defective or non-conforming products based on established procedures or work instructions.
• Document rework activities, including materials used and time spent.
• Collaborate with engineering or quality teams to develop or update rework procedures.
• Ensure reworked items meet all quality standards before release.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a similar role.
• Experience with rework or repair of mechanical, electronic, or assembly-based products is a strong plus.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.

• This role may require standing for extended periods and working with small parts or tools.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the work environment.
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
