The Senior Sales Associate supports the store leadership team in achieving all customer service, sales, ATF requirements, and safety standards while demonstrating outstanding customer service and leadership in the store. The SSA will support opening and closing of the store, maintain range safety and cleanliness standards, and work toward personal sales goals.

• Inform customers of Range USA services, discounts, special offers, sales, and promotions.

• Answer customer questions regarding product pricing, features, and availability.
• Assist with maintaining the store’s visual objectives and housekeeping standards by restocking, straightening merchandise, and ensuring that overall store appearance and cleanliness meets company standards.
• Produce the daily required documents including the 4473 forms, daily gun counts serial audits, position schedule, range, classroom, and course needs.
• Manage store software to create merchandise labels and stay up‑to‑date on daily store sales—actual vs. goals.
• Conduct store opening and closing procedures including cleanliness, register setup, reconciliation, and store security.
• Ensure all proper firearm safety rules are followed.
• Ensure that range maintenance takes place to ensure lanes are working and any issues are addressed; relay parts needed for repair if necessary.
• Maintain compliance with all involved government agencies including 4473 and background check processes during the firearm sales process.
• Remain up to date on new products that customers have interest in.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of customer service sales experience, preferably within a specialty retail environment.
• Ability to understand, recall and follow complex compliance regulations and work with highly confidential information.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule and hours necessary to open and/or close the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Communicates with customers to ensure that they are satisfied and that their needs are being met.

• Extended periods of standing.
• Lifting and/or pushing objects up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Working at heights of up to 10 ft.
