• Provide and coach store staff to deliver excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
• Greet customers as they enter and thank them as they leave; offer assistance and recommendations.
• Ring up sales accurately, handling cash, checks and other payment types.
• Operate fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine and telecom transactions.
• Resolve customer concerns within established guidelines.

• Maintain awareness of overall store condition; notify the Store Manager of equipment failures or maintenance needs.
• Direct store staff to perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting windows, cleaning floors, counters and bathrooms.
• Clean and inspect coffee machines, beverage and refrigeration units and other equipment.

• Ensure product areas are stocked, rotated and displayed for freshness and customer access.
• Assist in preparing product inventory orders.
• Make price changes per company or brand guidelines; place signage inside and outside the store.

• Ensure all shift sales are completed in accordance with company policies.
• Coaching employees to register transactions at the correct time and price.

• Keep accurate cash, sales, payroll and inventory records and account for variances.
• Prepare and transmit daily bookkeeping, invoicing and gasoline data.
• Complete daily banking and troubleshoot close‑out and shift sales analysis.

• Oversee activities of store employees as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform shift supervision and assume Manager responsibilities when needed.
• Schedule employees within company guidelines.
• Assist in hiring, training, counseling, mentoring, motivating and separating employees.

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Protect company assets and report incidents such as theft, injury or property damage.

• Prepare periodic sales, product and operating reports as directed.
• Attend job‑related meetings and perform shift‑change duties such as counting cash drawers and completing shift reports.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and shift audits.

• Occasional exposure to cold or warm temperature extremes in walk‑in coolers, freezers or outdoors.
• Occasional lift or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead and up to 50 pounds from ground to waist.
• Perform grip, reach and manipulation with hands throughout the shift.
• Push or pull with arms an up to 20 pounds force; reach overhead; bend, twist and stoop as required.
• Stand or walk for an entire shift; may require ladder climbing to retrieve or remove signs.

• Perform approximately 95% of work indoors; occasionally clean parking lots, gas pumps, take out garbage, etc.
• Experience with extreme cold temperatures, occasional noise and minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year of retail and management work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles, resource management and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to handle customers and unanticipated problems using standard procedures.
• Reliable time management and accurate operation of equipment, including cash registers and scanners.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Open availability across all shift times.

Hiring Range: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour.
