Director of Inside Sales – Independent
We are seeking a Director of Inside Sales – Independent with experience in strategic market leadership and sales team management. You will lead a remote team that drives independent dealer engagement, oversees the sales life cycle, and develops market growth strategies.
Responsibilities- Lead and support a remote team in handling inbound requests and conducting product demonstrations.
- Manage dealer communication and relationship building from initial contact to account registration.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching to enhance team capabilities and product knowledge.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet business targets and adapt to market changes.
- Collaborate with outside sales, enterprise, strategic accounts, sales support, and marketing teams.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales, account management, or sales support.
- 3-5 years of relevant leadership experience, preferably in a national or regional role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability in sales leadership, business development, and strategic planning.
- Extensive experience with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
- Excellent analytical skills to forecast market trends and team performance.
- Strong communication, data‑driven decision making, collaboration, accountability, agility, and strategic thinking.
- Additional certifications in sales or management are a plus.
- Previous experience in a tech‑driven sales environment and knowledge of the automotive industry or SaaS platforms are a plus.
Competitive salary: $85,000 - $90,000 USD annually with a target bonus of $0 - $5,800 USD. 401(k) with company match, medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA options, paid vacation, personal and sick time, paid maternity and paternity leave, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D, Employee Assistance Program, tuition reimbursement, and volunteer days.
