Security Officer - Second Shift

As a Security Officer Radio Dispatch Driver in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a utility location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, support access control, and help respond to security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while maintaining accurate records and assisting with routine operations in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility operations location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, access activity, and other operational notifications; promptly report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident documentation, and shift reports in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas and the perimeter, as assigned, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.li>
