The Role
Join Kitchen Tune-Up Buffalo, NY as a Painter and Shop Technician in the Orchard Park location, where you'll play a crucial role in transforming kitchens and enhancing customer satisfaction. If you have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our innovative kitchen solutions.

- Assist with inventory and equipment management (organizing, tracking, inspecting shipments, ordering, etc.)
- Prep and paint/stain cabinet doors and other materials ranging from cabinets to crown.
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of kitchen components and cabinetry.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all products meet our high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
- Utilize hand, power tools, and saws effectively to complete various tasks such as cabinet assembly.
- Communicate with management regarding inventory needs and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and product knowledge.
- Opportunities to learn carpentry, refacing, and artistic wood restoration.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a shop or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
