Field Service Technician

Overview

Field Service Technician for Canon USA, responsible for routine maintenance of Canon-supported products, ensuring service and parts quality standards are met.

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to management, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on‑site maintenance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
• Facilitate performance that helps achieve branch/district overall metric targets.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel as required.
• Must obtain necessary security and/or other clearances to access customer premises.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).

• Hourly salary range: $19.00–$26.31.

Full‑time on‑site. This position requires full‑time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on scheduled work days.
