Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a senior-level Service Now Developer. This is not a traditional ITSM administration role - we need a strong engineer who can build scalable custom applications on the Service Now platform and contribute across integrations, architecture, frontend experiences, and modern AI-assisted development practices.
The ideal candidate has deep hands‑on Service Now development experience, thrives in code‑centric environments, and is comfortable working across multiple systems including Splunk, Azure, Snowflake, and React‑based UI layers.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications- Proven experience building end‑to‑end custom applications using App Engine Studio and modern Service Now development tooling
- Strong integration development experience using REST, SOAP, and scripted APIs
- Experience integrating Service Now with enterprise platforms such as Splunk, Azure, Snowflake, or identity providers
- Strong understanding of CSM/FSM workflows, including case management, work orders, dispatch, Agent Workspace, and CMDB‑driven fulfillment
- Experience working in domain‑separated Service Now environments
- Familiarity with modern Service Now UI technologies including UI Builder, Next Experience, Work spaces, and Service Portal
- React experience or strong frontend development experience preferred
- Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, update sets, and application repository management
- Experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar platforms
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and architecture problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work cross‑functionally, challenge requirements constructively, and contribute to solution design and technical direction
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑oriented mindset
- Snowflake experience
- Python experience for data‑related workflows
- Service Now CAD certification (nice to have, not required)
- Mobile Agent / Now Mobile experience
- Experience with Performance Analytics and dashboards
