Senior Accountant
Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing company that is looking for a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have experience with monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and reviewing both accounts payable and accounts receivable. They will need to be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the monthly financial close process.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supervise AP processes, vendor payments, coding, and controls. Accounts Receivable Oversight
- Monitor collections, aging, cash application, and customer accounts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax preparation, fixed assets, and process improvements.
- 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- Experience with payroll, month-end close, AP, and AR
