Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our busy repair shop. As an Auto Mechanic, you will diagnose and repair vehicle issues, maintain shop equipment, prepare cost estimates, and create a welcoming environment for customers. You must have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components and be comfortable communicating with customers, explaining vehicle issues clearly and concisely while providing valuable advice.

• Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
• Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business

• Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
• Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required
