The Goddard School located in Wheaton/Carol Stream is looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable Experienced Lead Teacher to join our team.
We seek individuals who can use their creativity and Goddard’s learning-through-play program as a basis for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way, and to instill a life‑long love of learning. We want someone who is patient, courteous, and professional with children, parents, and co‑workers.
Lead Teacher Responsibilities- Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
- Planning and implementing project‑based lesson plans that match students’ development needs and interests.
- Interacting with children to support play, exploration, and learning.
- Establishing positive communications with the parents.
- Performing observations to be documented in each child's portfolio and assessments as needed.
