Power System Engineer
Job Summary: This role will be responsible for designing and continually supporting our AC Switchgear product line.
Primary Responsibilities- Engineer and design new UL891/1558 Switchgear and AC distribution products.
- Create and update as‑built production drawings.
- Create part fabrication drawings.
- Support Production, Sales, and other team members.
- Stay up to date with the latest NEC, NFPA, IFC, and other applicable codes.
- Stay current with the latest technologies and components used in manufacturing.
- Experience in designing UL891/1558 Switchgear and Power Systems.
- B.S. degree in a technical area of study preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Knowledge of current UL 891/1558 and NEC Standards.
- Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production drawings and 2D/3D models.
- Understanding of electrical circuits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
