Die Design & Tooling Support Specialist

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Die Design & Tooling Support Specialist. This is a full time on-site position at our Carol Stream, IL manufacturing facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year.

• Utilize NX Progressive Die Wizard and AutoCAD to design and develop progressive dies, tooling, fixtures, and related components.
• Create plan views, bills of materials, detail drawings, burn blocks, electrodes, shims, and all supporting documentation required for die manufacturing.
• Assist in troubleshooting tooling and die‑related issues to support production.
• Coordinate with suppliers to request and review quotes for materials and services.
• Assist with purchase requisitions and procurement processes for new tooling.
• Support shipping and receiving activities for new tooling tool room.
• Ensure compliance with all company quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

• No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Carol Stream, IL to be considered. Active Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Three years experience with tool design
• Knowledge in CAD operation (NX-Progressive Die Wizard/Auto-CAD)
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English)

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Occasionally lift up to 50lbs
