Job SummaryThe Home Care Agency Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified caregivers to support Standard Home Care, Inc.’s client care needs. This role plays a key part in maintaining adequate staffing levels by managing high-volume recruiting activities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. The Recruiter collaborates closely with branch leadership, scheduling, and operations teams to align hiring efforts with client demand while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, and job fairs
- Screen applicants to confirm qualifications, certifications, licensing, and availability
- Conduct phone and in‑person interviews to assess caregiver experience, attitude, and fit
- Coordinate background checks, reference checks, drug screenings, and credential verifications
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date applicant records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Assist with onboarding new hires and ensure completion of required employment documentation
- Build and maintain a pipeline of caregivers to meet ongoing staffing needs
- Collaborate with scheduling and operations teams to align hiring with client needs
- Represent the company at recruiting events and community engagement activities
- Monitor recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, retention, and hiring trends and recommend improvements
- Serve as a liaison between departments to support clear and timely communication
- Respond promptly and professionally to emails, calls, and inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service to applicants, employees, clients, and visitors
- Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or home care
- Knowledge of caregiver qualifications, licensing, and state regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑priority environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
- Experience recruiting high‑volume hourly or caregiver roles
- Experience with community outreach or recruiting events
