This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:

Medical and office cleaning, 5 days a week, M-F, 4 hours a day, 5-9:00 p.m., $15/hr. Other duties may be assigned:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools, and procedures.
• Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows cleaning, and moving chairs and equipment on wheels.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Clean all common space areas including kitchen/break room, lobby/hallway, exam room, offices, and bathrooms.
• Place safety hazard signs in the building including “wet floor” signs as necessary.
• 1-year experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• Will provide on-the-job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• The ability to be flexible, work at a fast pace, and multitask is a must.
• Contribute to a positive work environment with a pleasant attitude and team effort, including being in uniform, dependable, and punctual.
• Respect and understanding for company policies, co-workers, and customers.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
