Maintenance Technician

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Maintenance Technician.

The General Maintenance Technician will complete assigned preventive and reactive maintenance repairs involving conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and other equipment, systems, or structures. Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. Responds to spills and emergency situations, performing necessary tasks and assisting in emergencies as needed.

Pay Range: $22-24/hour

This salary range is for guidance; actual offers depend on education, experience, skills, location, and market data.

• Follow safe practices and comply with standards.
• Operate or assist with heating, ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, pumps, air compressors, refrigeration units, air conditioning, fans, and siphons.
• Be flexible and willing to perform all assigned tasks.
• Work with internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope, and failure investigations.
• Support various engineering departments based on needs.

• Provide engineering support for systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational functions.
• Understand, analyze, and solve issues related to vehicle/equipment design, operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Approach problem-solving logically, define maintenance plans, and ensure safe operations.
• Review Service Bulletins (SBs) from manufacturers.
• Develop solutions, implementation plans, cost/benefit analyses, and manage project execution. Coordinate warranty recovery on applicable SBs.
• Prioritize responsibilities and ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure safety, compliance, reliability, and efficiency.
