Custodian GHB

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Custodian to join our team in Carol Stream, Illinois . This individual will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary facility, including production areas, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a warehouse environment.

• $21/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 8:00am to 5:00pm schedule
• Located in Carol Stream, Illinois

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, production areas, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors throughout the facility
• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste and recycling materials
• Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed
• Restock paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good working condition
• Report equipment malfunctions, repair needs, and unsafe conditions to management
• Safely handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials
• Follow OSHA, company safety, and PPE requirements
• Assist with cleaning and organizing warehouse storage areas and work spaces to prevent hazards and obstructions
• Maintain outdoor areas, including walkways
• Assist with cleaning and preparing the facility for special projects or events
• Participate in required safety training and meetings

• 1–2 years of custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals
• Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods
• Comfortable working around warehouse equipment, industrial noise, and varying temperatures
• Ability to use required PPE, including gloves, masks, and safety goggles
