* Position Overview:

** Orbitalum, an ITW company, currently has an opening for a Service Technician. This dynamic person will be expected to perform a variety of operations involving equipment assembly, component replacement, inventory management, technical training, shipping/receiving and computer related tasks.

* Essential Job Functions:

*
* + Perform computer related tasks such as order entry, inventory transactions, and shipping paperwork.

+ Responsible for rental repairs including installing replacement parts to rebuild rental equipment.

+ Maintain rental facility, inventory, and the equipment needed to test machines.

+ Log equipment in and out of the system based on customer info provided.

+ Able to complete repair estimates for customer-owned equipment.

+ Communicate with the sales team to understand customer requirements.

+ Keep area clean and perform all duties in a safe effective and efficient manner.

+ Additional duties and tasks as assigned.

* Qualifications/Requirements:

* + Strong communication skills

+ Problem-solve as necessary

+ Ability to work independently

+ Comfortable managing multiple tasks and reprioritizing as needed.

+ HS diploma, GED and/or 1 year of relevant experience

+ Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

+ Aptitude with various power tools preferred

+ Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

+ Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

+ Basic computer skills/knowledge of Word and Excel computer programs

+ Occasional travel for training, including overnight stays, may be required

Hourly Rate:

$28-$30, based on experience.
