We bring in repeat business while still expanding our clientele around the country. Starting in the Midwest, we have expanded quite a bit over the years. Job Details

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team who will specialize in Underground Utilities and Water Main Programs. This individual will perform a combination of in-office work, field visits, and has the flexibility to work remotely. Projects include sewer, water, and other underground infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing large-scale, high-budget projects from initial conception through to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of underground utility projects, including sewer, water, and other infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead a team of project professionals and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with company and industry safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management processes and techniques.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on underground utilities or water main installation projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex underground utility projects.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Professional certification in project management (PMP) is preferred.
