Position Overview

Standard Home Care, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Carol Stream branch. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including staff leadership, client care delivery, financial management, regulatory compliance, and business development. The ideal candidate is organized, results‑driven, and experienced in home care operations, with a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Staff Management
  • Hire, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate caregivers and office staff
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and corrective action when necessary
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and high‑performing team culture
Client Care
  • Oversee client intake, assessments, and development of individualized care plans
  • Ensure high standards of care delivery and client satisfaction
  • Address and resolve client or family concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage branch budget, including payroll, billing, and operating expenses
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost‑control measures as needed
  • Ensure accurate billing and payroll processing
Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal home care regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance standards and best practices
Business Development
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and community organizations
  • Support branch growth through community outreach and partnership development
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily branch operations, including scheduling, staffing coverage, and workflow efficiency
  • Address operational challenges proactively to ensure continuity of care
Reporting
  • Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, staffing, compliance, and growth opportunities to senior leadership
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or a related field (required)
  • 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in home care, healthcare, or a related industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising staff (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of CCP or comparable client care program experience (required)
  • Strong knowledge of home care regulations and operational compliance
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
