The Village of Carol Stream seeks a motivated and detail-oriented office professional with an interest in public service, to join our dedicated Police Records team.

This full-time, service-focused role will provide customer assistance, answer non-emergency calls, maintain records and perform various other administrative tasks in support of our 24-hour police operation.

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Superior Communication and Organizational Skills
• Ability to Multi-Task and Work Independently
• Able to Discreetly Handle Confidential Matters
• Possession of a valid Illinois Driver's License

Carol Stream Police Records Clerks utilize several electronic programs including MS office and the LEADS database.

Previous work in law enforcement/public safety a plus, but not required.

The primary hours are 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sunday thru Thursday; however, the successful candidate must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
