Ferguson is seeking a dynamic
** General Manager
** to lead our
** Market Distribution Center in Carol Stream, IL.
** In this role, you will oversee a multi-shift, high-volume distribution operation serving B2B, B2C, and branch replenishment channels. The General Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence through strong leadership, associate engagement, safety, productivity, and a culture of continuous improvement across all functional areas of the facility. By fostering a high-performing team and efficient operations, you will help ensure our customers receive the right products at the right time, creating meaningful connections that drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth.  

The facility in Carol Stream is located just outside Chicago. It covers 460K square feet and manages a team of over 100 hourly and 5 salaried associates.  
** The Carol Stream Market Distribution Center is a new build / greenfield site that will be opening the summer of 2027!**  ##

*** To lead and encourage the development of associates and management by demonstrating strong warehouse management knowledge. Empower and engage team members to bring out their best while delivering excellent customer service.
* Responsible for setting and achieving a safe work environment, our quality standards and engaging the team to deliver productivity goals for the Distribution Center.  ##
** Responsibilities:
*** The hiring, development, and retention of associates to ensure we maintain a culture of engaged team members who are highly motivated to deliver continuous improvement. The right leader will also create and internal succession plan and development team member skills.
* Develop a strong culture of collaboration and high associate engagement while building a best-in-class operating environment.
* Navigate change and achieve high levels of customer service while balancing operational requirements in a very collaborative environment
* Ensure all functions operate at levels which exceed our customer’s needs and establish financial and operational goals.
* Recommend policies and programs which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability of the operation.
* Ensure the safety and security of the facility in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Implements all policies, procedures, and regulations as set forth by Ferguson.
