Warehouse Associate

Overview

The Fresh Factory is a market leader in food production specializing in healthy concepts and products with clean labels located in Carol Stream, IL. We provide full-service, clean-label food processing solutions and full-service cold-pressed juice and beverage solutions.

We are searching for a full-time Warehouse Associate
. This individual will be responsible for assisting the flow of materials in and out of the facility, including order picking, receiving, storing, inventory management, production support, and overall warehouse organization.

• Pick and verify orders for outbound shipment
• Receive, weigh, and accurately log and label incoming materials and outbound shipments
• Inspect all incoming raw materials to ensure they fall within established food quality specs
• Keep the warehouse neat and organized
• Supply production with necessary raw materials and packaging, transfer produced goods into storage
• Enter system transactions across shipping, receiving, cycle counts, production supply, finish good creation and scrap
• Manage inbound and outbound carriers to minimize load/unload time; create Bills of Lading & necessary paperwork

• Must have strong attention to detail including problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in warehouse and high computer literacy
• Ability to work independently and willingness to work as a member of a team
• Forklift certification
• Must speak English;
  Conversational Spanish (a plus)

• Move/Lift up to 50lbs; move pallets with pallet jack
• Must be able to read text and instructions
• Must be able to stand most of the day
