Shipper – ASSA ABLOY Midwest Service Center
Do you enjoy hands‑on warehouse work and being part of a team that keeps operations moving? If you are dependable, safety‑focused, and detail‑oriented, we want to talk. This position supports shipping and material handling operations at our Carol Stream, Illinois location.
Responsibilities- Prepare customer orders, load and unload trucks, and operate forklifts.
- Pick, pack, and crate frames and other products for shipment.
- Perform quality checks and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
- Organize outbound deliveries using UPS, LTL, TL, and company trucks.
- Use computers and systems to support shipping processes.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Ability to lift 5–50 pounds regularly.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
