Foamline Utility Operator

Summary:

This role is responsible for functioning as part of a team to meet production goals. This position will communicate production issues and take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis.

* 3rd Shift Schedule is Monday - Saturday, 9:30PM - 6:00AM.
* Essential Functions:

* Coordinate all manufacturing parameters relating to the safe, efficient production of Silicone foam

* Perform all duties related to inventory and transporting materials

* Responsible for safe disposal of scrap and waste

* Assure that a sufficient quantity of raw material base is available to meet daily production demands

* First In/First Out (FIFO) maintenance

* Communicate with various departments such as quality, shipping and value added relative to product quality issues and availability of material for further processing or shipping

* Identify and communicate quality issues and inventory discrepancies

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education

* 1+ years relevant manufacturing experience

* Forklift certified or ability to become certified

* Mechanical aptitude
