$40.00/hour, full-time, non-exempt.

About SeracSerac Inc. is a global OEM of filling, capping, and cup-filling machinery. Our equipment fills and seals the products people use every day. The team you would lead builds and wires those machines.
The RoleAs Electrical Assembly Supervisor, you lead the electrical and mechanical assembly, panel build, machine wiring, and testing that get our machines ready to ship. You will balance the schedule, protect quality, solve the daily technical problems, and grow a skilled crew.
What you will do- Supervise 5+ electro-mechanical assemblers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Schedule electrical assembly work to line balance and keep production visuals and documents current
- Monitor quality, completeness, and timeliness across assembly processes and drive corrective actions
- Troubleshoot electrical technical issues and support the team on the floor
- Partner with the manufacturing controls engineer to keep the red-line process on track
- Lead 5S audits, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement
- Own safety, housekeeping, and policy compliance for your area
- 5 to 10+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
- 5 to 10+ years building electrical control panels by hand
- Strong understanding of assembly drawings, electrical schematics, BOMs, and pneumatic/hydraulic schematics
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Skilled with hand/power tools, fabrication machinery, and material handling equipment (forklift, overhead/gantry crane)
- Associate degree in electro-mechanical technology preferred; HS Diploma or GED required
- Valid Illinois driver's license
- Allen-Bradley / electrical controls exposure is a plus
On-site in a climate-controlled facility with some travel. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and to bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work at elevation.
