Production Operator (Job Requisition #034526)

Under direct supervision, performs entry‑level routine activities associated with various types of assembly machine operation and/or set‑up.

• Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Carried out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced.
• Reports any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper set‑up and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follows safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

The pay range for this position is $19.33 to $30.87. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $19.39 and $19.39. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and geographic location.
