Cold Food Production Associate – 1st & 2nd Shift | $18/hr

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Manpower is hiring motivated Production Associates to work in a cold food manufacturing environment
. In this role, you’ll be packaging refrigerated lunch trays, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting various tasks across the facility. Work is performed in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with a controlled temperature of about 30°F (like a walk-in cooler).

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

• Work on a production line assembling pre-portioned lunch trays containing items like deli meats, cheese, crackers, or fruit
• Each room focuses on a specific food item – you’ll be assigned to one and trained on how to portion and pack that ingredient
• Weigh and scale ingredients to ensure correct portions
• Carefully place food into trays following quality and safety standards
• Pack completed trays into boxes for shipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and food handling regulations

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight regularly
• Comfortable working in a cold environment (~30°F)
• Willing to adapt to different conditions (temperature, noise, air particles)
• Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities

• Temperature-controlled facility (around 30°F)
• Physically active role with lifting, movement, and cleaning
• Full safety training provided on Day 1
