Machinist - 2nd Shift

Job Overview

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Machinist—2nd Shift in Carol Stream, IL. The pay rate for this position is $28‑$38 plus $1.50 shift differential per hour. Core hours: 3:30pm–2:00am Mon‑Thursday with occasional OT on Friday.

• Read and understand blueprints and piece prints
• Understand and use a variety of measuring equipment
• Good communication skills including the ability to receive and give oral and written instruction
• Ability to work in shop environment
• Perform setup and operate surface/water grinders and milling machines

Education: Minimum requirement is High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: No experience necessary; willing to train someone with mechanical aptitude/knowledge.

Skills: Basic math skills, good communication skills, ability to work well with a team, detail oriented and ability to prioritize, dependable, strong work ethic, work ownership.
