Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Extrusion Operator to join our team in Carol Stream, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for setting up and running blown film extrusion machinery and performing the duties listed below. • Learn to read job specification sheets and determine the correct product specifications such as film width, gauge and treat levels.
• Learn set‑ups, changeovers and general extrusion functions.
• Manage department paperwork in regards to manufactured materials.
• Perform all necessary quality checks required to insure product quality.
• Develop skills to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of all equipment in the department.
• Optimize product quality and productivity while controlling scrap levels.
• Any and all other duties as assigned by the manager and/or designee.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. High level of measuring ability.
• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• A drive to succeed with a self‑starter approach and a can‑do attitude.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
