Two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment with at least one year with the same employer preferred.
Responsibilities- Ensuring safe operations at all times.
- Set up functions such as removing and attaching cutting dies, zeroing and opening/closing the machine; raising, auto setting, and lowering the pre‑feeder, setting the stacker and counter‑ejector portions of the machine, recovering ink and washing ink filters, installing inks, cleaning, setting, and adjusting the glue application system, and completing necessary paperwork.
- Learn and operate KIWI and QMS operating systems to run a quality product. Read work orders, print cards, and design specifications to learn customer requirements and specifications.
- Continuously monitor the quality and quantity of production.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Constant standing, walking, frequent twisting, bending, and lifting from the ground; occasional reaching and crouching.
- Repetitive lifting up to 20 pounds; frequent lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Repeatedly performing cleanup functions such as blowing down the machine, cleaning ink systems, sweeping the machine area, picking up scrap and general housekeeping.
