The Filter Tech is an entry-level production position responsible for cutting, capping, and assembling custom-sized filters to meet customer specifications. This role follows standard operating procedures and work instructions, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and supports daily productivity and quality goals.
- Operate a saw to cut filter materials to the required size.
- Cap filters according to customer and product specifications.
- Assemble custom-sized filters accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications.
- Operate basic machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to the Production Supervisor.
- Support team productivity and quality goals and complete other accountabilities as assigned.
- No prior manufacturing experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable and able to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, and work requirements.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20-30 lbs.
