EducationRequirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.
- Experience performing MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals.
- Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures.
- Ability to accurately measure, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
- 1–5+ years of welding experience (varies by role)
- Proficiency in one or more welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred.
- Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial.
- Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Welder/Fabricator.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.

What You Will DoAs a Welder and Fabricator you will prepare materials, set up welding equipment, perform MIG welding operations, inspect completed welds, read blueprints, verify measurements, and help fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. You will maintain welding equipment, follow quality standards, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations while producing consistent, high-quality work.
