Job Title:
Cold Press Forge Operator – 1st or 3rd Shift
Job Description:
is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Cold Press Forge Operator – 1st Shift to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting cold press forging equipment to safely produce quality metal components.
Schedule:
3rd Shift Sunday Night–Friday Morning, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
1st Shift 7"00am to 3:30 Mon-Friday

- Set up and operate cold press forging and related production equipment.
- Operate and monitor machinery using switches, buttons, control panels, and displays.
- Adjust equipment according to established procedures and production requirements.
- Load and unload metal components as required.
- Monitor machines throughout production to ensure proper operation.
- Visually inspect components for defects and quality issues.
- Use calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices to verify part specifications.
- Record production and quality information accurately.
- Assist with machine, tooling, and production changeovers.
- Respond promptly to machine alarms, warning lights, and operating signals.
- Identify basic equipment or production issues and report problems as needed.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintain 5S standards.
- Follow all company safety rules, work instructions, and operating procedures.
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Cold forming, forging, press operation, or metalworking experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of machine controls.
- Experience using calipers, gauges, or similar measuring instruments preferred.
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout an 8–10 hour shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Pay is based on experience.
