Position Overview

Fabrication Welder I - 2nd Shift Carol Stream, IL $21.00 - $23.00/hr (Paid Weekly) Overtime: $31.50 - $34.50/hr Monday-Friday- 3:45pm - 12:15am Paid Breaks | Overtime Available

We are seeking a Fabrication Welder I to build and assemble machine frames and components using MIG welding and fabrication techniques. This role involves working with structural steel, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and preparing equipment for shipping.

• MIG weld and fabricate machine components and frames
• Build industrial equipment such as ovens, tanks, guards, and catwalks
• Grind and finish completed products
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Install components into machine assemblies
• Assist with machine teardown, painting, and shipping preparation
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• MIG welding or fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, or willingness to learn
• Experience with shop equipment, forklifts, or cranes is a plus
