We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to help us fulfill this purpose across assisted‑living, skilled‑nursing, and memory‑care settings.
Responsibilities- Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit, ensuring high standards of nursing care.
- Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
- Motivate LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
- Explain nursing procedures and assist staff to ensure ongoing understanding and training.
- Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, and suggestions.
- Observe and evaluate residents’ health, mental and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff, the physician, and family members according to prescribed procedures.
- Provide direct care to residents, including assessment and monitoring of staff performance, care planning, and daily resident assessment.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Devotion to nursing standards and principles.
- Skill in assessing problems, planning and evaluating solutions in relation to routine supervision of LPNs and nursing assistants and resident needs.
- Understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with people.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Compassion for senior adults and the disabled.
- Availability to work beyond normal hours, including weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
Pay Range: $36.90 – $51.94 per hour
Reasonable Pay Estimate: $36.90 – $51.94 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, education, location, and internal/external equity.
